Our Primary  and Secondary schools are co-educational - accommodating boys and girls from the ages of 2 years 6 months to 16 years. You are welcome to visit, preferably during school hours when you can see the children at work. We are happy to discuss your child's needs, answer questions and explain our policies and procedures.
The school operates from four buildings housing students from Foundation level t o Upper Secondary level in their respective buildings, with the administration offices of Primary and Secondary schools located within their respective buildings.
Welcome-Children's International School is one of the leading providers of first class Primary and Secondary education in Lagos, Nigeria today. We are indeed an International school with over twenty five countries represented in our student population. We offer a rich, diverse and stimulating extra-curricular programme that would appeal to most if not all of our students.

Year Six

In Year six, they take an exciting adventure into Nigeria and African history and review the many diverse and fascinating cultural aspects of this great continent that we are situated in. They take a serious journey into the reasons for war as they review World War I and II and the many cultural changes that have occurred in the modern world, ranging from political figures to studying the life of John Lennon of the Beatles.

They begin defining themselves as individuals with a democratic voice in Student council and take on the world as they prepare for Secondary Education. They become experts in the world of U.K. Common Entrance at 11+ and in S.A.T’s style questioning, while undertaking interviews.

As young scientists, they investigate fascinating facts ranging from circuits and forces to the smallest of micro organisms. The students in Year 6 endeavour to raise questions that will challenge their teachers. They also enjoy taking on greater responsibilities by managing the breakfast club and as Head Boy & Head Girl, House Captains and Prefects.

They raise questions about faith, worship and how scared texts affect our society as well as conversing with our French pen-pals as we diversify our Modern Language capacity. Shakespearian study features strongly as we find our Literacy voice.

Year six is a voyage of discoveries; an adventure of realising the potential of who we could become: a play writer, a poet, a song writer, an inventor or even a great political leader!
