Our Primary  and Secondary schools are co-educational - accommodating boys and girls from the ages of 2 years 6 months to 16 years. You are welcome to visit, preferably during school hours when you can see the children at work. We are happy to discuss your child's needs, answer questions and explain our policies and procedures.
The school operates from four buildings housing students from Foundation level t o Upper Secondary level in their respective buildings, with the administration offices of Primary and Secondary schools located within their respective buildings.
Welcome-Children's International School is one of the leading providers of first class Primary and Secondary education in Lagos, Nigeria today. We are indeed an International school with over twenty five countries represented in our student population. We offer a rich, diverse and stimulating extra-curricular programme that would appeal to most if not all of our students.

CIS is a co-educational school accommodating boys and girls from the ages of 2 years 6months to 11 years. The school is located on the Italian School site at 1 Sikiru Alade Oloko Crescent, off Admiralty Way, Lekki phase 1, Lagos. It operates within a purpose built block with enviable facilities. The site offers a science lab, a computer suite, music room, multipurpose gymnasium, swimming pool, tennis courts, full size football pitch, as well as a playground.

Our Ethos

At CIS we aim to provide a high standard of education by offering a broad and challenging curriculum. In a secure and stimulating environment, we seek to ensure the development of every child, intellectually, physically, socially, aesthetically, spiritually and emotionally. All members of staff are committed to nurture every child's individual strengths. We aim to develop a love of learning, social skills, communication skills and consideration for others. The partnership between parents, children and staff forms an important part of every child's education.

The School administers S.A.T's distributed direct from the UK at the end of each key stage, with optional tests carried out in Year 3,4,and 5. As the School grows, we hope to also include the administration of the U.K. Common Entrance Examination at the end of Year 6 for entrance to specific UK Independent Schools.
