The school operates from three buildings housing the educational blocks and administrative offices, and is situated in the heart of Lekki with enviable facilities, unrivalled by any other international primary school in Lagos.
Primary Annexe
Children's International School's younger children occupy the primary annexe. This building houses all pupils following the Key Stage 1 curriculum. At present, it comprises Nursery, Reception and Year 1 classes. The Nursery area offers a series of rooms dedicated to our youngest year group, including a classroom for desk-appropriate activities, a role-play room and an art & craft section.
The Reception area similarly comprises four different activity rooms; the art and craft room, the communal area, the tuition area and the 'quiet room', appropriate for reading and One-on-one tuition.
The Year 1 classrooms are upstairs in the annexe, here, the pupils are introduced to a more traditional classroom set-up, but they do also have a communal area and a 'quiet room', that may be used for One-on-one Extra Curricular Support.
Main Building
The main school building also houses the Administration Offices, the Music Room, the Library, the Science Laboratory and a Sick Bay.
Years 2 to 6's classrooms are in the main school building.
The Gymnasium looks out over the games field. Outdoors, there are tennis courts, a playground and a full size swimming pool.
