We are pleased to record another brilliant performance at an international sports competition.

This time, it is the World School Games which held in Dubai from the 8 th – 10 th of February
2018. The event rounded off with CIS lifting the silver trophy. Throughout the games, Team
CIS did us proud in every way, displaying exceptional skills with the accompanying attitude of
true sportsmanship. Indeed, it was a fantastic outing and surely, hard work and persistence
pay! These young athletes trained hard with great discipline and we are happy that their
preparation yielded satisfactory results.

CIS shone in all the competitions vis-a- vis; athletics, football and swimming. Without a doubt,
their remarkable performance left a great impression on their counterparts from other parts of
the world, the organisers and indeed, every guest present at Dubai Sports City during the
event. As we celebrate exemplary teamwork, we also celebrate the individual strength of each
of the athletes. This resonated in the manner at which Muna executed her games, earning
herself 3 gold medals and, an MVP award in athletics. Fikayo’s resilience and strength also
panned out in his golden jump which was highly acknowledged and celebrated on the social
media pages of the World School Games as it was branded an 'amazing high jump technique'
by the organisers due to its intriguing effects.

Hearty congratulations to the entire team including the coaches for their charge and guidance.
Special thanks to our dear parents for their unwavering support, especially those who
accompanied the athletes to Dubai. Your show of support at Dubai Sports City was admirable.
Your presence and cheering on of the athletes certainly added some boost to their morale. Well
done mums and dads!

Many thanks too to our partners:
