Team CIS at the World School U13 Games (WSG) 2020.

It has been an amazing sports season for CIS. The World School Games in particular was interesting this year, owing to the feats recorded by our athletes in both the U11 and U13 games. We are proud to make a special mention of Munachimso who broke the WSG record in 200m and 100m sprints, as well as won gold and bronze in the relay at the U13 games. This counted for her as she went home with the Girls’ MVP award for Athletics. We are also delighted to announce that CIS presently ranks the best sporting school in the world, out of twenty five best schools.

The U13 competition which held from the 27th of February to the 29th of February 2020 in Dubai Sports City was another great experience for the youngsters. In the midst of the screams of joy, tears of pain, crestfallen faces and anxiety that typically laces the atmosphere of such competitions, our boys and girls kept up the CIS Spirit. Their perseverance and sheer willpower to be successful was brought to the fore as they participated in the three day competition which featured athletics, football and swimming.

The swimming event recorded the biggest harvest of medals as our team of athletes glowed with astounding swimming skills amidst seasoned swimmers. Below is the medals table.
