Numeracy and Science Week

Sports Day

CIS Athletics Sports Day was held on the 12th of February, 2016 on the school's Athletic Field. The day's activities started with beautiful and colourful House Parades and displays from both the students and the teachers. Parents turned up in numbers wearing house colours to give supports to their children. The events were keenly contested by athletes from their various houses which make outcomes quite unpredictable. CIS WINS AT IKOYI CLUB

The CIS Swim Team was invited to participate in the 1st Inter-School Swimming Gala organized by the Famous Ikoyi Club on Saturday, 21st November 2015. There were 10 Schools in attendance represented by various talented swimmers. The weather was beautiful and sunny with lots of people in attendance to cheer the various participants. Athletes On Track

CIS Athletics Relay Teams for Primary and Secondary(Boys and Girls) were invited to Grange School for their Sports Day and competed against other invited schools. After the two action packed days for sprints, our own wonderful boys and girls in the primary came 2nd place and 4th place respectively. In the Secondary categories however, the invited schools were divided into two groups for two heats so as to accommodate the large numbers of schools present. Football Friendly

The Secondary Football team hosted Edgewood College Lekki in a friendly football encounter on the School's Sports field. The atmosphere was lively as the visiting school brought a whole lot of supporters hoping to intimidate the home side. AISEN Swimming Competition

The first AISEN swimming competition for the 2015/2016 session was held at Grange School Lagos, with 14 schools in attendance. The CIS Swim Squad was represented by 26 students from both primary and secondary. The standard of the competition showed good preparations from the participating swimmers to the delight of all present. Independence Day Cricket

In commemoration of the Nigerian Independence Day celebration, a Cricket Exhibition Game was organized at CIS as one of the events to mark the day. The match was between The CIS XI (made up of students, teachers and parents) versus The Lagos State Cricket Association XI.
